The Caregiver Symposium features Rev. Dr. Carla Cheatham, an expert in trauma-informed care, resilience, and emotional intelligence, who will equip professional and non-professional caregivers with practical tools for sustainable self-care and compassionate presence. Participants will learn mindfulness, boundary-setting, and emotional resilience strategies that strengthen both personal well-being and the quality of care they provide.

To further support participants, onsite respite care for loved ones will be provided by GRMC Hospice volunteers, allowing caregivers the space to fully engage, rest, and receive.

Presented by Emanuel's Lutheran Church, Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, and the Resilient Foundation. Seats are limited. Call 830-379-5046 for questions.
