There was a Special Called Meeting of the Emanuel's Congregation Council on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. online via Zoom.

While considering recommendations from the Synod for returning to campus, the Council announces the following schedule of beginnings:

  • June 1, 2020: Staff Return to the Church Office. Staff will follow the workday guidelines established by the Executive Council.

  • July 1, 2020: Small Group Ministries Resume. Small groups will follow all CDC guidelines for physical distancing and no gathering will exceed 15 people.

  • August 2, 2020: Sunday and Wednesday Worship Resumes on campus with modifications still to be determined.

Below is a link to the minutes from Tuesday's meeting. The completed document, We are Better Together: A Plan to Safely and Purposefully Join Together, will be shared with the Emanuel's community next week following Council edits.

Please keep in your prayers our leaders as they continue to be the church while navigating strange waters. It is with great care and compassion for all that we move forward.

Prayer Requests

At your request, prayers may be shared privately with Emanuel's Pastoral Team, the Prayer Chain, and/or more publicly with the congregation. Both your joys and concerns are welcome.
