Emanuel's Lutheran Church is grateful to partner with other non-profit organizations in Seguin and the surrounding area. Below are some of the agencies we work with frequently, several of which share space on the Emanuel's campus. 

Christian Cupboard

The Christian Cupboard provides food and other basic need items to those living in Guadalupe County. Emanuel's has collection sites in the Narthex and the Mountain St. entrance. Most needed items include: cans of tuna and other meats; cans of fruit, veggies, beans, soup; mac & cheese; dried beans and rice; pasta and sauces; PB&J; cereal; toilet tissue, soap

Church Women United

Church Women United is a valuable ecumenical organization with women from different churches who worship and work together on various projects. Contact is Elaine G.

Scouts BSA Pack 107

The Alamo Area Council Scouting America continues to prepare young people for life by providing the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training, utilizing outdoor activity, citizenship, and fitness. Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio & Guadalupe Valley

Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio & Guadalupe Valley is an ecumenical Christian non-profit housing organization working in partnership with God’s people in need to build modest, decent and affordable houses without interest or profit, thereby witnessing God’s love in action. Habitat is committed to empowering each Habitat homebuyer through an emphasis on sweat equity, a strong homeownership readiness curriculum, then by selling the family the home with a zero percent interest mortgage.  GVHH offices on Level 1 at Emanuel's.

NAMI Guadalupe County

NAMI is the National Alliance for Mental Illness. NAMI Guadalupe County educates individuals, families, professionals and the community on mental health topics. With the unique understanding of people with lived experience, our programs provide free education, skills training and support. NAMI offices on Level 3 at Emanuel's.

The mission of the SISC of South Central Texas is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service with volunteers age 55 and over dedicated to providing service that meets critical community needs.

If you're interested in joining, please fill out a general application  and email it to Director Patricia Buckley, pbuckley@tlu.edu or call 210-415-4747. You may also print out the application and mail it to the TLU SISC Office. SISC offices on Level 3 at Emanuel's.
