IGNITE
Children, Youth, and Family Ministry

At Emanuel’s Lutheran Church, our Ignite Children, Youth & Family Ministry is a vibrant ministry to and for our children, youth, and families—nurturing faith, building relationships, and growing together in Christ. From our youngest disciples to our high school seniors, Ignite offers meaningful opportunities to learn, serve, and celebrate God’s love.

Our ministry includes:

  • Weekly Sunday Children’s Church – age-appropriate worship, teaching, and activities during Sunday morning services for those in kindergarten through 5th grade.

  • Monthly Confirmation Class – grounding middle school youth, 7th and 8th grade, in faith, scripture, and Lutheran tradition.

  • Monthly All Youth & Family Gatherings – fun, faith-filled events that connect our entire church family.

  • Yearly Milestones – including Bible presentations for 3rd graders, First Communion Class for 5th graders, and other celebrations of spiritual growth including graduation Sundays.

  • Summer Programs – such as Vacation Bible School, God’s Explorers, and summer camp experiences through Cross Trails Ministry.

  • Compass Cooperative – a weekly partnership with three other congregations, offering 6th–12th graders rich fellowship, service, and learning experiences.

Through Ignite, we walk alongside one another in faith, equipping our young people and families to live out God’s call in daily life—together, we shine the light of Christ in our community and beyond.
