Because Lutherans believe in love. Love is the care and connection that binds us together with each other and God. Throughout Jesus' life there are stories about how he loved and had compassion for people, making sure they found the food they needed. Sometimes, we show love with fancy food. Sometimes, we show love with a simple meal. You may usually eat on the run or eat a communal meal. What matters most is the love put into these meals for ourselves and others. Join us on Sunday as we light the candle of love. There is a place at the table for you. We are better together.
