Because Lutherans celebrate new beginnings. On February 15th we joyously welcomed our newest member into the body of Christ, John-Ryan Kaniela Rodriguez, pictured here with his loving sponsors and parents. February 23rd is our first Welcome Sunday of the year where we will formally receive new members into the mission and ministry of Emanuel's Lutheran Church with a unique liturgy of affirmation. Thanks and praise to God for our beautiful siblings in Christ. We are better together.
