Because Lutherans cultivate deep roots. Shout out to Jim D. and the Garden of Eatin' crew for sharing their skill and love of the earth with our Day School kids. In the fall they creatively navigated the existing garden's physical limitations for our little ones and decided to craft something just for them. Carrots were sprouted in the classroom and planted in new custom-made raised beds on the Day School campus! Potatoes, too! Now there is a whole crop of new gardners looking forward to spring planting. Volunteers always welcome. We are better together.
