The 2026 Grief Symposium: Caring for Children & Adolescents, presented by Emanuel's in partnership with the Resilient Foundation, formerly the Christian Counseling Center, and hosted at Seguin ISD’s Boardroom had nearly 50 attendees on January 8. Tami Logsdon with the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas led the multifaceted conversation. We are thankful for Donna Simmons' leadership and coordination of this event, for Elizabeth Jandt and Nancy Meier volunteering the entire morning, and for Pastor Rudy and Pastor Marcus helping get all of the items necessary for the day to the administration building. Our next symposium, focusing on caregivers, is set for April 16. We are better together.
