Because Lutherans understand important work (pt.4). On Sunday, Emanuel's members and leaders thanked Vicar Rudy for sharing his gifts in worship, in teaching, in pastoral care, and in leadership. We have been blessed by his creativity, his questions, and his witness to God's grace. May his continued service in the church be filled with joy, humility, and faithfulness. Shout out to the Internship Committee for a lovely commemoration - with doves! We are better together.
