Because Lutherans have been in the wilderness before: We mark our foreheads with dust. We acknowledge that we die and return to the earth but we are forever marked with the cross of Christ. We tackle tough truths. We travel rocky roads. We stumble at times. There is no need to wander alone. Journey the wilderness with us this Lenten season. We are better (at braving the wild) together.
