Because Lutherans lift our hands to the Lord. Sometimes our mascots get in on the act, too! Tillie is a regular when her companion Elaine G. comes to quilting. The quilter's hands were busy this week cutting and pinning and folding and sewing. A lot of hands at the church are dialing phone numbers to check in with with friends, turning the pages of books that nurture our minds, scrolling through the internet keeping us informed. And washing! So much hand hygiene right now. God's work, our hands (and paws) all year long. We are in this together. WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER. We may be apart, but we are not alone.
