Because Lutherans love our scaly, furry, and feathery friends. Emanuel's critters joined their four legged cohorts from Spirit of Joy and St. Andrew's Episcopal on a lovely autumn afternoon to be blessed and prayed for on the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi last Sunday. Shout out to Chris Teague for providing tunes for the humans and at least one lyrical hound. "Bless you, Lord our God, in all your creatures!" We are better together.
